"I'd like to say to the good citizens of Dover: if there is a disaster in your area, don't turn to God, you just rejected Him from your city," Pat Robertson

Er sorry Pat but aren't you guys arguing that Intelligent Design IS NOT an attempt by Christians to peddle their beliefs via the education system? If Intelligent Design is not a Christian argument for the teaching of Christian beliefs then why would a rejection of Intelligent Design constitute a rejection of the Christian god? Right on. Intelligent Design was indeed designed to incorporate the Hebraic-Christian God into the workings of evolution. If not, then, why bother?--since many philosophers from the beginning implied that there is indeed an inexplicable force or mystifying undercurrent to the unfolding of the universe.
